My Main Priority is Voter Integrity
I find it quite offensive that whenever the Left wants to ram through questionable laws and regulations that will adversely impact everyone, they sprinkle a little color on it so whomever objects can immediately be called Racist.
Case in point, Voter I.D. is voter suppression because Black and Brown people don't have I.D.
It is very RACIST to say that Black and Brown people don't have I.D. because they can't afford it or they can't find the DMV because they don't have access to the internet or aren't aware how to use it even if they do happen to have access to it. The inconvenient truth is that EVERY registered voter already has an I.D. So, asking for I.D. at the Polling Places is not a real issue. You can't register to vote unless you have an I.D. As a matter of fact, while you are at the DMV getting your State I.D. or your Driver's License, you are asked if you would like to register to vote while you are being processed for your I.D. When you are being registered to vote by any other means whether it's through attending a candidate function or you are approached during voter registration drives, your I.D. is required for the Registrars to be able to fill out your voter registration form.
It is my goal to push back on this insane tactic by the left to ram through ridiculous bills like this on the backs of Black and Brown People. In my office of County Clerk there will be Voter I.D. Every legitimate vote should count and the only way to secure the process is to ensure that every vote is cast by a registered voter and I.D. is the most effectively way to accomplish this.(Read More)
